This would have been found on all of the earlier MerCruiser 305 models that have a 2-piece rear main seal (which is pretty much anything 1977-1985 / 1986)
- This is easily identified by the hub... on the 2-piece crankshafts it is not a perfect circle with 3.5" across on the hub mounting holes and 1-piece is a perfect circle with 3" across on the mounting holes
