MerCruiser 98704 98704A3 Power Trim Cylinder Starboard Arm Ram Alpha One Gen I

• Starboard (Right Side) Cylinder is 98704 (which is equivalent / also referenced as 98719, 98704T, 98704A10)
• Power Trim Cylinder For use with all Alpha One Units (1983-1990) Regardless of Engine (2.5L 120hp / 3.0L 140hp / 4.3L V6 / 5.0L 305 V8 / 5.7L 350 V8...etc)
• However, THIS IS NOT the same as XD Trim Cylinders (14035-1 & 14034-1)
• This was used basically in for the 1983-1986 models before they started putting the XD trim arms on everything.
• Please check what numbers are stamped on your cylinders as you will need to swap the lines from yours to these ones, or contact me and I can likely include used lines for an additional cost.
• Stamped part number is 98704
  
• Starboard Cylinder is 98704 (which is equivalent / also referenced as 98719, 98704T, 98704A10)
  • This is equivalent to 98704-1 but is of older design and a bit longer.
• You will need to install your existing trim lines on this
• You will receive the single cylinder exactly as pictured.
• It is usually in your best interest to replace your cylinder with one that has the exact same part number stamped onto it.

98704 vs. 98704-1 & 98703 vs. 98703-1

• The 98704/98703 cylinders are slightly older than the redesigned 98704-1/98703-1. These older cylinders were a bit longer overall. It is generally in your best interest to match exactly what you have already stamped on your existing cylinder(s) you are replacing.
• The Trim lines / hoses on these are all interchangeable between the 98704 & 98704-1 etc....
