- Part number stamped on the the little plate is YL624AV
- This is Mallory Distributor. Please inspect yours closely, take not of the little fingers that hold the cap on. If your cap is held on by screws, this is NOT the right one. Also It should clearly say Mallory On it somewhere and this doesn't have the electronic ignition components.
- This is a Marine distributor & not an automotive one. (SAE J1171)
- The springs are good. It Up to you if you want to replace the Cap, points & condenser.... They are easy to track down, affordable and not a bad Idea to replace if you're doing this swap anyway.
