Item Description
- MerCruiser Alpha One Gen II Empty Lower Unit Gearcase 1623-815822A30 / (Typically Stamped 1623-815822-C or 1623-815822-C1)
- For all Gen II Models 1991-1995 (S/N 0D469859-0F679999)
- Basically the Sterndrive Lower Gearcase housings are the same no matter what drive/engine you have from that period of 1991-1995 (4cyl 140hp / V6 4.3L / V8 305 / V8 350 etc...)
- In 1996 & up applications all of the housings are the same and typically stamped 1623-815822-C4 which is a bit different so don't interchange these. It is best idea to always check you stamping or send us a photo if you are unsure.
- The housing is in good condition inside & out, the paint is a little rough but you should be able to get a good idea from the pictures.
- The races are still installed and if you are installing a new gear set it is advisable to use the races provided with the new bearings.
