- General related part number found in manual is 1623-8951A37 (empty housing) and also slightly related is 1623-8951A43 (Whole assembly)
Item Details
- Overall good condition.
- Races are still installed in this. It is advisable to replace the races if you are installing new bearings.
- Freshwater Used Part
- Original Paint (missing quite a bit of it in some spots)
- Some damage to the skeg, but this is a good housing candidate to swap your good internals into.

- Basically this would have been found on MerCruiser MR / Alpha One Gen I Sterndrives 1983-1990
- 1983-1990 Models DO NOT have a pre-load pin on the driveshaft
- THIS WILL NOT WORK FOR THE EARLIER YEARS (1970-1982) INTERNAL COMPONENTS (Identified by whether or not you have a pre-load pin)
