  • Stamped 12076
    • A lot of these are stamped many various 5-digit numbers on the bottom of the flange facing the front of the engine but this is not the actual part number...
  • The 12076A2 Revision was usually stamped 12076-C1 and had a slightly "larger" mounting flange but still mounts the same and still uses the same 27-99777-2 gasket...I think the 12076-C1 version was just easier to cast than the previous version.

General Application / Compatibility

• MerCruiser 120hp 2.5L 4cyl & 140hp 3.0L 4cyl (1983-1998)
  • This particular one that does not have the flange for the top of the exhaust boot was generally found on 1983-1989 models
  • The earlier style of this was a 2-piece system and looked significantly different but will replace that entire assembly as a whole... (1983-1986ish)
