Found on MerCruiser / OMC GM Chevy V8 305cid 5.0L 4BBL Models > 228hp & 230hp with 4BBL Intake Models 1977-1979 at the latest as this is an early version of the 378450 (there was a later version with larger valves)
- Used with the standard 2-piece Rear Main Seal engines.
- Perimeter Bolt Valve Covers
- NON-VORTEC Head (This shouldn't need to even be mentioned here)
- 12-Bolt Intake
- Appears to have the 1.720" intake valves
