- OMC 982518 / 0982518 Oil Pan (Ford 5.0L 302 V8) (1989-1993) (STANDARD 1/2-20 NON-METRIC THREAD)
- This is a Later Version - There is an earlier version that has some slightly different cosmetic features but they will interchange seamlessly as I have compared both versions side by side in-depth.
- Eventually superseded to Volvo Penta 3853797 Oil Pan (1994-1995)
- These pans look a little bit different but are also more or less the same.
- Be careful if you are in the 1995-1996 range as there are a few instances where they used metric thread pans but the parts diagrams state that the pan called for is standard thread style.
- Original Paint (OMC), but really great overall shape!
- The research on these is a little tricky, but appears to have been the same for all of the Ford V8 5.0L 2-Barrel Carbureted and EFI 302 models from 1989-1995. The 1996 models using 3850041 (metric thread) was different because the 1996 oil pan has different threads for the oil drain block. (metric vs the standard threads found on the 1989-1995 pan) THIS PAN HAS STANDARD 1/2-20 Thread for the oil drain plug

- I do not have the Ford stamped part number for this unfortunately
- Yours should look just like this. (You can not use this for a 351 as it is a completely different bolt pattern and a significantly larger oil pan.)
