- MerCruiser Flame Arrestor 44196-1 / 44196T1 (Molded Hose Retainer)
- Eventually replaced by 805016A1 which had the hose retainer that bolted to the top of the carburetor.
- Overall Good condition
- Compatibility on this isn't exactly clear as it was used in conjunction with other models that had molded hose retainers, so you'll just have to look at your exiting one to figure out which kind that you need.
- This has the 3" Throat opening for 2-barrel Rochester & MerCarb carburetors, but seems like this pretty much only was found on 4.3L V6175hp / 205hp from 1987-1993

- Pretty much outlined above, but basically and models 1987-2001 That had Rochester Carburetor or MerCarb with 3" opening and an external hose retainer.
- Please check your flame arrestor to see that yours is the same.
