- Although a lot of these look the same, they had different configurations as far as the switches & wiring were concerned.
- This particular unit has only ONE Trim Switch in the handle.

This is universal and could technically be used on both MerCruiser and OMC applications as it has holes in back of it for either configuration depending on where you place the components.
- Johnson / Evinrude / OMC Stringer & Cobra - 1980 & Up.
- MerCruiser / Mercury / Mariner Outboard - 1970 & Up
- It has only One Switch, so for Stringer applications, you would need a 2nd trim switch for the drive.
