- This would have been found on various MerCruiser GM 4.3L V6 / V8 5.0L 305 / V8 5.7L 350 V8 engines manufactured between 1987-1995. (With 14" Flywheel / 1-piece rear main seal & a 12" starter / STAMPED TRIANGLE COUPLER)
- During this time period, there were 2 different types of flywheel covers depending on which type of coupler the engine used, and then a 3rd type for engines using an 8" starter.
- 13930A3 was used with engines that had a 14" Flywheel and the stamped coupling (triangle coupling that attaches to the perimeter of the outside of the flywheel) < This is what is in this listing.
- 96273A6 was used with engines that had a 14" Flywheel & cast coupler (round one that bolts directly flywheel studs)
- A lot of the engines after the 80's were using the 8" starter and also required a different flyhweel cover 818719A1
