- This particular part is from one of our personal outboards. We thought we were having an issue with ours and replaced this one with another used one we had in stock, but it ultimately ended up being the carburetor causing all of our running issues and changing the module didn't make any difference. We took the old one apart and it was corroded on the inside which didn't let us get much above idle... I just wanted to mention that just in case you are trying to diagnose an issue with your current outboard and deter someone from just parts swapping like we did.
