OMC 981348 / 0981348 Stringer Intermediate Housing Bolt-On Retainer Kit
- Effectively this was OMC's fix to the snap ring (308632 / 0308632) that held in the puck for the tilt worm gear. The snap ring would commonly pop out, or the area for the snap ring is too corroded, so this more or less bolts to the side of the housing and eliminates that problem.
