- This is was MerCruiser's Prestolite replacement for the Delco 85374A3 distributor.
- Removed from a MerCruiser / Ford 3.7L 4cyl.
- Used with 4 cylinder 3.7L engines that came in various horsepowers (165hp 170hp 180hp 185hp 190hp) and also referred to as (MerCruiser Alpha One 165, 170, 180, 185, 190, 465, 485, 488, 470 MIE, 470, 470LX etc.)
- This prestolite style distributor was not common as it was never installed on any production engines, but it was the factory superseded replacement for the standard Delco 85374A3 distributors.
