- Valve is still installed on this. The very early Gen II Bell housings did not typically have a Lower unit oiler valve installed. (which were typically stamped 816459 / 816459C)
General Application / Compatibility
- Found on MerCruiser Sterndrive Gen II Transom Gimbal Assembly Housings 1991 & Up (using an oiler)
- Engine does not really matter here as the Generation II gimbal housings were more or less all the same.
- I.E. (140hp 3.0L 3.0LX 4cyl / 205hp 185hp 262 4.3L 4.3LX V6 / 200hp 230hp 5.0L 5.0LX 305 V8 / 260hp 5.7L 5.7LX V8 350 Magnum etc.)
