General Application / Compatibility
- This is set is effectively many of the major components of the "76509A12" Power Trim Kit based on everything that is included in here, which I believe is "Kit B" like this diagram here:
- As far as what this fits, this is where things get confusing in my research, The only model where I see a confluence of all of these parts is the mercury 1500 150hp 6cyl, but could be adapted to work with any early mercury outboards that accept this externally mounted style trim kit.
- The differences between all of the kits really comes down to the nuts and bolts of the included mounting hardware, so if you get stuck you could always piece your way to success by just following your outboard's respective parts diagram or at least comparing your diagram to the link mentioned above. Note that most of the later outboards were using the 1" diameter cylinder pistons, but ultimately they are still interchangeable.
