- For use with OMC Cobra V8 GM 5.7L 350 & Ford 5.8L 351 engines 1987-1993.
- 1986 Model years used a different casing that even though they are compatible with those years, you need to swap out a few parts (anode at the base of the front of the gearcase) to make them compatible.
- Compatible with GM 5.7L & Ford 5.8L applications.
- 21/16T Gear ratio
- Model Number 985689 (stamped in plate) / 986381 (equivalent)
- No leaks or bad seals found after pressure testing.
- Freshwater Used Part
- I have included a picture of the impeller that is currently installed. It should be fine, but it is up to your discretion as to whether or not you replace it.
- You will need to add your own rear water pump cover (obviously not pictured)
- This gearcase has been cleaned & repainted.
